She came to my clinic with sweater, scarf and mask. Her son told me that his mom had severe allergy for years. She couldn’t come out of the room because she might have sneeze, runny nose and watery eyes with itchiness.  She was afraid of cold and wind in that case she had to put on sweater even in summer.

Tongue: Pale with crack;      Pulse: Week and deep

Treatment:

• Acupuncture: Mainly on Lung Meridian and Spleen Meridian
• Herbal Medicine: Gui Zhi Tang
• Ask her to wash face and wet nose with cold water everyday
• Indoor air ventilation

Second Visit

She came to the clinic without sweater, scarf and mask, she told me she was not afraid of cold and wind that much, and there was less sneeze and eye itchiness. However, the runny nose still bothered her a lot

Treatment:

• Acupuncture: Mainly on Lung Meridian, Spleen Meridian and Kidney Meridian
• Herbal Medicine: Gui Zhi Tang plus Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang
• Ask her to wash face and wet nose with cold water everyday
• Indoor air ventilation

Her son came to the clinic in order to get some herb for her mother. He said she was pretty normal now, and the allergy didn’t bother her anymore.
